The latest info about the simulation software and the F.EE IT division
SPS Connect 2020
November 03, 2020
The SPS trade fair, which normally takes place annually in Nuremberg, will take place this year from November 16th as a purely virtual matchmaking event SPS Connect. F.EE is present at this new digital meeting point of the international automation industry and presents the highlights and latest developments in plant simulation!
You can visit us at the trade fair platform and arrange meetings in form of web-sessions and chats with our contact persons directly there. All members of the F.EE trade fair team for SPS Connect have a calendar on the platform, which you can use to book directly into a free time slot.
Simulation as data concentrator thanks to open interfaces
May 20, 2020
Many companies have a more or less large toolchain for their engineering process and miss the data consistency of the tools used. Media disruptions and loss of information generate costs. In plant simulation, the data generated in the process is used to generate a digital twin. What is desirable is a central tool that is flexible via open interfaces and is able to use the data efficiently for automated model generation.
fe.screen-sim is a simulation software that supports the holistic requirements necessary today. It can act as a data concentrator to collect the project specific data from the different disciplines and save it in an XML structure.
A major advantage is that data exchange is bidirectional via macros and module interfaces. Thanks to concentrated data, digital twins can be created automatically and control codes for use in the PLC can be generated more easily. The digital twin thus combines all data available in the process. Project-specific adaptations or customer requirements can also be implemented by the end user using the SDK (software development kit) or the API (application programming interface).
Range of services and support expanded
April 29, 2020
Consulting, training and support: We now provide targeted support for newcomers to plant simulation in their digitization projects.
The range of training courses in particular has been expanded: In addition to basic training, we offer special programming courses for advanced users, who can write their own extensions to fe.screen-sim using the SDK and API and thus expand the range of functions to meet their specific requirements. In addition to these training courses, the offer ranges from an initial workshop to close support during project implementation or the creation of models by F.EE specialists.
SPS, Nuremberg: 26 - 28.11.2019
September 10, 2019
The annual SPS exhibition in Nuremberg is the ndustry meeting point in the calendars of everyone interested in automation and digitization. F.EE will be represented with a range of products from the fe.screen – software for industry sector as well as with the FactWork company software and will present, among other things, the latest version 4 of the 3D software for planning, simulation and virtual commissioning of plants.
SIMPLE CREATION OF SIMULATION MODELS FROM CAD AND NEW FUNCTIONS IN V4
August 27, 2019
CAD data of plants are available in the form of 2D or 3D data. In essence, however, during the design phase, no thought was ever given to making this data available to other systems, such as a simulation environment. So how can simulation models of plants be created easily and quickly? fe.screen-sim version 4 offers a comfortable solution using an API. Learn more about the additional new functions in fe.screen-sim V4.
QUANTUM LEAP IN VIRTUAL COMMISSIONING AND NEW COOPERATIONS PRESENTED in Nuremberg
December 10, 2018
The software solution fe.screen-sim has been a real visitor magnet at the SPS IPC Drives trade fair 2018. A new partnership with ABITRON GmbH, a leading manufacturer of radio remote controls for industrial applications, enables fe.screen-sim to be used, for example, for virtual crane training including realistic vibration behaviour. Visitors had the opportunity to extensively test this live on site and via virtual reality and to prove their skills as virtual crane operators in the 3D environment.
fe.screen-sim V4 has a new interface to MATLAB® and Simulink®
October 11, 2018
Version V4 of the F.EE solution for digital twins will have a new interface to MATLAB® and Simulink®. fe.screen-sim V4 will be presented for the first time at the SPS IPC Drives exhibition in Nuremberg on November 27. This allows both numerical calculations based on MATLAB® and the modeling of technical and physical systems using Simulink® to be integrated as part of a simulation.
New version fe.screen-sim V4 as trade fair highlight: SPS IPC Drives 2018
September 27, 2018
The highlight of the year will come closer and closer with the SPS IPC Drives from November 27th to 29th in Nuremberg. F.EE will present the new version V4 of the simulation software for so-called digital twins in hall 6 at booth 308. Experience the strong performance and the new even more realistic presentation of the systems, robots and machines in the 3D environment live at the booth!
Service spectrum expanded + new trade fair date: LogiMAT 2018
21st August 2017
The range of services in 3D simulation has been expanded. From the creation of project-specific models right through to complete system simulations - we can fulfil customer requests, flexibly and reliably.
To the services
From the 13th to 15th March 2018, F.EE information technology + systems will be presenting fe.screen-sim for the first time at the LogiMAT in Stuttgart – the meeting place for the logistics sector. You can definitely look forward to that! Further information will follow soon.
ECONOMICS MINISTRY: F.EE COUNTS AMONG THE “DIGITAL CHAMPIONS IN BAVARIA"
10th May 2017: Companies with a pioneering role in digitalisation are honoured by state minister Ilse Aigner in Munich.
The “Bavarian map of Digital Champions”, which shows the companies across Bavaria that have overcome the challenges of digitalisation in an exemplary and outstanding way, also contains F.EE. The specialist in software and industrial automation is marked on this map alongside just a few companies in Eastern Bavaria, and therefore ranks among companies such as Audi, BMW, Osram and Krones in the “Industry 4.0” division.
New version presented at the SPS IPC trade fair in Nuremberg
5th December 2016: With the new version of fe.screen-sim V3 including Augmented Reality glasses, visitors were able to fully immerse themselves in 3D simulation, for example in a highly complex conveyance system.
SPS IPC Drives – that is the name of the industry trade fair of the superlatives, which takes place in Nuremberg every year at the end of November. F.EE presented a number of innovations and highlights at the event. The trade fair team provided information on areas including two focuses of the Information Technology + Systems division: the new edition of the successful company software FactWork, and the new version of the 3D simulation software fe.screen-sim captivated visitors in particular.
